How to Rename your Input Sources on your LG TV (Easy Tutorial)
1To rename input sources on your LG TV, follow these steps:
1. Access the Input List
Press the Home button on your LG remote to open the main menu.
Navigate to Inputs or Home Dashboard (varies by model) and select it. This will display all the connected input sources.
2. Select the Input to Rename
In the Inputs or Home Dashboard screen, highlight the input source you want to rename (e.g., HDMI1, AV, etc.).
With the input highlighted, look for an Edit or Rename option on the screen. This may be represented by a pencil icon.
3. Rename the Input
Select Edit or Rename. A text box should appear, allowing you to enter a new name.
Use the on-screen keyboard to type in a new name (e.g., "Blu-ray Player," "Game Console," etc.).
Once you've entered the new name, confirm your selection.
4. Confirm and Exit
The input should now display with the new name.
