To turn off auto-playing ads on the home screen of your LG TV, follow these steps:

Open Settings

Press the Settings button on your LG remote to open the settings menu.
Go to All Settings

Scroll down and select All Settings (or Advanced Settings) to access the full menu.
Navigate to General Settings

In the settings menu, scroll down to General and select it.
Find and Turn Off Ads or Promotional Content

Look for an option labeled Ads, Promotional Content, or Home Screen Ads (the name can vary depending on your LG TV model).

Toggle the option to Off. This will stop the TV from automatically playing ads or promotional videos on the home screen.
Exit the Settings Menu

Press Exit or Back to save the changes and leave the settings.
