How to Scroll on Screen for Steam Deck if you Can't Scroll Down (Easy Method)
5If you’re having trouble scrolling on your Steam Deck, here are a few methods you can try:
Using the Trackpads:
Right Trackpad: Use the right trackpad to move the mouse cursor.
Left Trackpad: Use the left trackpad to scroll. You can do this by rotating your thumb in a circular motion on the left trackpad, similar to how you would use an old iPod.
Desktop Mode Configuration:
Go to Settings - Controller - Desktop Layout.
Click on the cogwheel next to Scroll and adjust the settings. You can set the swipe direction to vertical, horizontal, or circular.
Using the Touchscreen:
If the touchscreen isn’t responding well, try cleaning it gently with a microfiber cloth. Sometimes, a dirty screen can cause touch issues.
