How to See Your FPS and Ping on Call of Duty Vanguard
Call of Duty Vanguard comes with its own FPS and Ping overlay that can be activated through the interface settings. The FPS will display your currently frame rate as you play, and the ping will show your server latency in real time. Bot of the overlays are positioned in the top left corner of Vanguard and can be enabled separately.
Having the FPS enabled on Vanguard can help you tweak your graphics settings to maximize performance. Whereas the ping overlay can help you determine if you are lagging or having internet issues.
Typically a high FPS is preferred for online gaming as it gives a decent competitive advantage. A high FPS results in the screen being refreshed more times per second,, meaning that a new image and set of information is being displayed on screen quicker.
A low ping or preferred as it makes inputs more streamline. Your inputs will be transmitting to the server at a faster pace resulting in smoother gameplay and experience.
