How to Add Music in Premiere Pro (Add Background Music to Videos)
Premiere Pro gives great control over audio and music which can help transform a video. Adding music to Premiere is done the same way as videos, through dragging in the files or by importing them through the project panel.
Adding background music to your video is a great way to pull together an entire project. Typically background music is quiet so as to not distract from the primary focus of the video.
The volume level can be lowered in Premiere via a few different methods. The audio level on a layer can be changed by zooming into the audio tracks so you can see the line that spans from left to right. This line is the audio level.
The second method for lowering background music in Premiere is to change the volume on an entire audio track. By default the audio track volume isn’t an available option. New settings can be added to a track by right clicking and choosing to customize. The audio level setting is displayed as an audio bar graph and will need to be dragged onto the track for it to be added.
