How to switch Vehicles in Unreal Engine 4 with Blueprints
In this tutorial you will learn a quick way to use the Possess Blueprint node to take control of and provide input to a Pawn or Character in your project. It can be used to switch between characters, spaceships, cars, turrets -- anything a player can control.
Wondering how to switch between characters and vehicles in Unreal Engine 4 using blueprints? Want your character to be able to get in and out of space ships or cars or tanks? Want to switch bodies with another character? I show off a quick way to switch between pawns using blueprints. We make some modifications to the flying pawn and the third person character as well as our own player controller. This is one method for allowing the player to enter or exit vehicles as well as just allow the player to switch between different pawns / characters in the game.
