How to TURN OFF Controller connected to STEAM PC Settings (Best Method)

Here are the most effective methods, from most direct to more in-depth Steam settings.
1. The Direct Controller Method (Best for Wireless)
This is the fastest and most universal way to turn off a wireless controller, regardless of what's running on your PC.
For Xbox Controllers: Hold down the Xbox button in the center of the controller for about 6-10 seconds. The light will blink and then turn off, indicating the controller has powered down.
For PlayStation Controllers: Hold down the PlayStation (PS) button in the center of the controller for about 10 seconds. The light bar will turn off, and the controller will power down.
For Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers: Hold down the Sync button on top of the controller (next to the USB-C port) until the lights turn off.
