How to Turn Off Google Home Screen on TCL TV (Easy Method)

While you cannot completely remove the Google TV interface, the easiest way to make it less intrusive is to switch to "Apps only mode."
Apps only mode removes the personalized recommendations and sponsored content, leaving you with a clean interface that only shows your installed apps.
The Best Method: Apps Only Mode
Open Settings: From the Google TV home screen, navigate to the Settings icon (a gear) in the top-right corner.
Go to Accounts & Sign In: Select Accounts & Sign In from the menu.
Select Your Profile: Choose your user profile.
Turn on Apps only mode: Look for the "Apps only mode" option and toggle it to On.
