How to Change the Welcome Background On PS5 Pro (Easy Tutorial)
11To change the welcome background on your PS5 Pro, you're essentially customizing the background that appears on the home screen when you log in. While the PS5 doesn't allow direct customization of the welcome background (like a traditional wallpaper), you can change the background image for the Home Screen and other areas. Here’s how you can customize your background:
1. Change the Background on the PS5 Home Screen
Go to Settings
From the home screen, navigate to Settings (the gear icon in the top right corner).
Select Themes
Under Settings, scroll down and select Themes.
Select Background
Choose Select Background. You can choose from:
Default Backgrounds (provided by the PS5)
Custom Images (upload your own photos)
Select Your Image
To upload a custom background, go to USB Drive if your image is stored on an external drive or select Gallery if you’ve transferred it from a PS4 or other device.
Select the image you want to use and adjust its position if necessary.
Set as Background
After selecting the image, confirm to set it as your background.
