To enable or disable closed captions (subtitles) on your Xbox Series X, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Navigate to Profile & system.
Select Settings.
Choose Ease of Access.
Click on Closed Captioning.
You’ll see three options:

Captioning off: This turns off closed captioning.
On using default style: Select this option to turn on closed captioning using the default system style.

On using custom style: Choose this option to enable closed captioning with a custom style that you can configure. You can customize aspects like caption color, transparency, size, font style, effects, background color, and window appearance.
