To find the downloads and updates folder on your Xbox Series X, follow these steps:

Change Downloads Location in Internet Web Browser (Microsoft Edge):
Open the Microsoft Edge browser on your Xbox Series X.
Click on the three dots icon to access the menu.
Go to Settings and then select General.

Scroll down to the option that says “Choose where to save downloads” and choose your preferred location.
Check Your Download Settings:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Navigate to Profile & system - Settings - System - Updates.
Make sure the option for “Keep my games & apps up to date” is enabled.
Change Default Install Location:

Open the guide by pressing the “Xbox” button on your controller.
Navigate to Profile & system- Settings - System- Storage devices.
Select “Change install locations” and choose your external hard drive. You can also let your Xbox decide where to install content3.
Redownload Games:

Go to the home screen to view the console’s primary menu.
Scroll over to the My Games and Apps tab and select it.
