How To Use cfgeconomycore CE Parameter & Custom, Separate Files To Edit DayZ Server Loot Economy

In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you an alternative, cleaner way to change, alter, edit & boost (or reduce) the loot on your DayZ Community Server for PC, PlayStation & Xbox Consoles.
Instead of just editing the vanilla XMLs, for example types.xml, to add more guns, food, loot, etc (or to reduce loot), instead we can make separate files that append the originals, making it much easier to error-check, update & if necessary remove the loot economy changes we want to make.
On PC Community Servers, where you could be running multiple mods that add hundreds of extra items, this is a best practice for adding those class names to your server, because you can have them in separate files, even in separate folders, to make it all very easy to parse and change, for example if a mod stops working and you need to remove the relevant types.
The files that you can a[[end and use for this method in cfgeconomycore.xml at the moment are:
types
spawnabletypes
globals
economy
events
messages
Hopefully BI & the DayZ devs will add more, especially mapgroupos & mapgroupproto.
The above info was believed to be correct as of DayZ Update Patch 1.27, May 2025.
Thanks, Rob.
