Agh. A prime example of 'great idea, poor execution'.

This is a golfing game where you have no clubs to hit the ball with. Instead, you attach 4 differently-colored rockets, up to 4 of each type, onto the ball wherever you want. At the press of the corresponding button you fire off a particular color of rockets, sending the ball flying off by their propulsion.

It's a great setup for something really entertaining, and maybe some people would have the patience for it. But me...not me.

The holes don't have nearly the amount of wriggle room that such an inexact and bombastic movement system needs; I feel a wider, more expansive set of holes would benefit much more from this. Also, it's not at all efficient to place the rockets; they all reset between each shot, removing all the rockets you have from the ball for each shot. This sounds okay at first but when your shot is just a little off, and you just need to remove or add a rocket or two but want to keep the rest of the jets where they are...well, tough luck, the ball resets naked and go place all your rockets again!

Overall this just became tedious and boring for me. There's only one 18-hole course too; so even if you do like it, there's really not a lot of content here. And from what I saw, the courses were not that inventive or interesting; indeed, they felt like they weren't even designed for the odd mechanic the game centers around. Overall it was just too difficult and not enough fun. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/charemplaysgames
