Howler for an Hour: FoxTail

This is an amazing game. If you like Sierra style adventure games with that same level of visual detail and polish, wonderful music and charming characters and story, this is definitely perfect for you.
Admittedly though, I'm rather terrible at playing adventure games myself, especially if they're harder ones. Well...this game isn't perfect for me, heh! While some adventure games will supply hints or nudges in the right direction for their puzzles, FoxTail really requires you to think and logic every situation out in your brain. And that's great!...if your brain is more capable than mine for such.
Admittedly, even ignoring my adventure game ineptitude, I feel some of the puzzles require steps that fall into the 'how the heck was anybody supposed to figure that out?' range. I'm not too proud to admit I started using a guide after I got a bit too frustrated, so I can say some of these puzzles are...mph no.
MOST of the puzzles are fair logic and reasoning obstacles though. And frankly...what a beautiful game to be playing while working them out. I can't dislike this game even if I am not the adventure game veteran (or semi-vet?) that this seems to be targeting. It really is perfectly polished aside from my disdain for the occasional puzzle's leap of logic.
It's also worth noting that this is in Early Access and yet still looks so amazing! It's only got the first chapter (which I didn't complete) so far, but it'll have eight by the time it reaches its full release. It's merely $7 at this time, though the price will increase as more content is added; this seems a great time to hop on board and buy this if you like what you see!
