HP Stream 7 Gaming - Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition. I've had some requests to see how Fallout 3 plays on the HP Stream 7 compared to Fallout New Vegas. I had suspected that we'd see faster framerates on the HP Stream 7, and we do. Averaging low to mid 30's outside, it plays quite smoothly.

I've had some framerate drops when enemies appear on screen (you can see some in this video), and in VATS (although I didn't run VATS here), overall the experience is quite playable.

Again this is the Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition from Steam, with all DLC.

Note that this will have some initial problems with Windows 8.1 (even after the Steam install process).

You will get the message: "Ordinal 42 could not be found in the Dynamic Link Library". You will need to install the Xbox Live client at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/Dow...

Second, Fallout 3 has a specific problem with Intel HD and the Directx 9 3D renderer, so you will need the D3D9.DLL and FALLOUT.INI to get Fallout 3 to display properly. It's usually referred to as the Fallout 3 Intel HD Bypass Package. You will find this at NexusMods:
