Here the HP Stream 7 is running the Runescape client. Graphically, Runescape is quite simple, so I am surprised to see it running slowly on this tablet. I imagine the client code is not optimized and you need a stronger CPU to muscle through the rough code of the Runescape client.

What I didn't say is that the client would not let me force a fullscreen mode at different resolutions.. the option was there, but it would not apply or select. It would only run a window. I found thus rather strange, and again, I can only imagine that the code needs some attention - or maybe it needs a paid membership, I dont know which.

As a comparison, I ran another game advertised as an "in your browser" game - City of Steam.. and that client front end ran much better than Runescape's client, and with higher detail settings, so I can only conclude that Runescape's client application needs some optimization so it can run better.

Anyways, long and short of it - it appears the HP Stream 7 isn't the best machine for Runescape.

Also.. that banner at the top is really unfortunate.. there are so many free to play games out there which don't feature advertisements, that its sad to see Runescape has some. :(
