HP Stream 7 Gaming - Garry's Mod. After a few requests to try Garry's Mod on the HP Stream 7, I decided to give it a go. This is a little bit of Sandbox play. The screen is at 1024 x 768 resolution, and although we could get better framerates at 800 x 600, because Garry's Mod has so many menus, the bigger the resolution, the more functional GMOD is.

With the 7" screen however, the many menus are quite small to see on the screen. Still, it is playable with some patience.

I tried staging a small battle between NPCs to see how the framerate fluctuated with active AI characters on the screen. Of course the more graphics on the screen, the harder it is for the small GPU to keep up with.

If you do play Multiplayer on Garry's Mod, massive maps with lots of items, and large amounts of players will of course slow you down. But if you keep it simple, I'm sure you'll have a good time. Also, if you don't need the complex menus in multiplayer mode, you can probably drop the resolution to 800 x 600 for faster framerates.
