Guild Wars 2 on HP Stream 7 - Howdy folks... Guild Wars 2 is one of those nicely portable games you can just copy without an install.. so I thought lets try it on some tablets! Here's the little $100 1Gb HP Stream 7 doing its very best to play Guild Wars 2!

I had tried it on my Dell Venue 8 Pro - which having much better memory bandwidth and twice the RAM - managed to run it better than expected. Now I didn't even expect the HP Stream 7 to play it without chugging away enough to make it unplayable, but surprisingly... while the framerate is low, it's not the total slideshow I was expecting. If you don't mind some laggy experience, you could play Guild Wars 2 on the Stream 7 if you felt masochistic enough to do so - lol.

I had to set it to 4:3 and the low preset (or "best performance" as it is called) and it gains a couple of fps over its native resolution.. the biggesst problem here is the HP Stream 7's low memory bandwidth and its tiny 1Gb of RAM.

But for fun and enjoyment, here it is actually working - without crashing and completely playable!
