Hunting "small" fry - Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy Gameplay episode 5
Today me and the crew return to Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy, a turn based tactical game where you command a strike group of space warships to defend your colony world from the alternating threats of space pirates and a hostile alien menace known as the Nautilid. In this episode I defend the primary, and apparently only, shipyard that our planet has for spaceships from a two pronged assault by Nautilid forces, with one prong being comprised of smaller, faster, vessels while the other prong would have fewer, larger, ships. Thinking it would be easier and safer to defend against a larger group of smaller, faster, enemies, I chose to defend the shipyard from that particular force. The battle went well, at least until Nautilid reinforcements arrived and I realized that what the game considers a small, fast, ship isn't what I consider a small, fast, ship. Chaos then ensues. Enjoy.
