The true hazards of science - Kerbal Space Program Gameplay episode 4
Today me and the crew return to Kerbal Space Program, a game where you run a NASA like organization for a bunch of little green men and attempt to explore space; while fighting the in game physics engine the whole time because it likes flipping your spacecraft upside down and having it fly back into the launch pad at Mach speeds all because one air foil was placed two inches to the left of where it needed to be in order to achieve stable flight. In this episode, I seek to achieve a stable orbit with a spacecraft. Those plans are put on hold relatively quickly however as taking a tourist to the stars nets me enough science to unlock even more scientific devices that nets me even more science that allows me to unlock enough parts to build atmospheric aircraft. Now all I need to do is make certain that they don't explode by rolling off the runway, have the non wheel parts of the aircraft hit the runway at extreme speeds, or crash while trying to land on the runway and I should be fine. If all else fails I can always to what I did before, which essentially was strapping solid fuel rockets to the plane for a vertical takeoff and use parachutes for a vertical landing. On the plus side the team in the tracking station shouldn't have too much of a problem finding my aircraft if I park it just outside their building. Enjoy.
