Growing a bumper crop of farmland - Autonauts Gameplay episode 17
Today me and the crew return to Autonauts, a colony building and management game where you can personally chop down every tree, build every tool, and fire every clay bowl, but you don't have to as, in addition to various work stations and buildings, you can build an army of programmable robots to do all of the heavy lifting for you. In this episode, I continue to expand the farms to account for the increased need for resources, learn that it's better to move storage bins while they still have stuff in them, and that the turf my robots are removing to make way for the new farms is quite structurally stable as I now have several towers of turf taller than the game's camera can see, and I have ye to have any fall over due to high winds, terrible storms, or the fact that I have a basic bot pulling from the bottom of the stack to use elsewhere; although I think such sturdiness is as much due to the tower falling over not being a valid game mechanic as is due to the turf itself. Also, I continue researching things and instantly complete a certification because it needed specific technology to unlock, but not said technology to fulfil. Enjoy.
