ALIEN ROGUE INCURSION is the first official VR Alien game for PC VR and PSVR2 (with Quest 3 launching in 2025) and it leans heavily into the vibe of the movie Aliens with plenty of action, LOTS of blasting Xenomorphs to pieces with the iconic pulse rifle and loads of authentic feeling, franchise accurate visuals throughout the campaign. This Alien Rogue Incursion VR gameplay highlights video is comprised from the first two hours of the game which are, in my opinion, the best sections of the game and where developers Survios really excelled in creating an exciting Alien VR game. Alien Rogue Incursion is ultimately a great run and gun shooter for fans of the franchise and it's packed with fan service moments, however players shouldn't go in expecting much more than that as this 6hr long adventure loses steam and struggles to perform well in it's second half with glitches and bugs that can, if you're unlucky, mean you need to start the entire game again. Alien Rogue Incursion gets a lot of things right but falls apart in the second half due to bugs, a lack of polish and an inability to keep the xenomorphs feeling exciting or threatening. Here's hoping Alien Rogue Incursion part 2 manages to add some more variety to the gameplay, squashes all the pesky bugs and keeps the action frantic and exciting right up until the end. Alien Rogue Incursion is out for PCVR & PSVR2 tomorrow with Quest 3 following in 2025.
