This NEW VR GAME has AWESOME PHYSICS COMBAT // ARKEN AGE (PCVR Gameplay)
939ARKEN AGE is a brand new VR game coming to PSVR2 & PCVR later this month (January 16th) and it has some seriously impressive VR mechanics, gorgeous fantasy locations, AWESOME weapon customisation and VR combat that will make fans of games like Blade & Sorcery VERY happy. Arken Age has really impressed me so far, it clearly takes inspiration from many different genres to create a unique VR action adventure experience that gives players the freedom to climb, swim, hack, slash & shoot their way through large arena style environments, facing off against robotic foes and finding upgrades for your equipment and abilities until you've cleared each area. It's not quite a rogue like, not quite an arena brawler and not quite a linear story driven action game, it takes inspiration from all three and crafts a new VR experience that has some big Turok and Metroid vibes in these early sections of the game. If you're a fan of VR combat games / VR physics based combat games like Swordsman or Blade and Sorcery or perhaps you're just looking for a high fantasy sci-fi adventure in VR then Arken Age should be very high on your wishlist as it's shaping up VERY nicely ahead of it's January 16th release date.
This Arken Age VR gameplay was captured on a 4090 VR ready PC with a Quest 3 connected via wired link cable. The game is set to the highest graphics settings and the footage here represents a pre-release build of Arken Age.
