Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
99Zelda and Dynasty Warriors seems like an unlikely mix, but Hyrule Warriors proved that it can deliver one of the best Musou games out there. The first Hyrule Warriors was remastered for Switch and offers the best experience with a whole load of new content and characters.
The game is a true love letter to fans of the Zelda games that came before this. The story tells the tale of two magical witches that unleash a conflict amongst different timelines and realms. You will fight with familiar characters like Link, Zelda, Princess Ruto, Midna and more. And the places you will head towards are also familiar spots from previous Zelda games which means it oozes nostalgia and atmosphere for those who experienced it previously.
Each zone has familiar music that has been remixed and it put a smile on my face from ear to ear and excited to see what location was next. The scope of the battles is gigantic and epic and the action is tight and responsive. For some reason I find it so relaxing to play a couple of matches of Warriors game to unwind after a long day's work.
The story campaign is fantastic with beautiful cutscenes and plenty of upgrade and customization options. There even is a female link in the form of Linkle and all in all I adored this entire experience. I know there are other Hyrule Warriors set in the world of Breath of the Wild and hopefully I get a chance to archive those too someday.
