Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition Legend Mode: Cia's Tale - The Dragon of the Caves
0This is a side-story that is unlocked after competing the Epilogue scenarios, it is Cia's Tale, which was a DLC scenario back in the Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors. The first one takes place before the events of Hyrule Warriors, and Cia enters Eldin Caves to find a warrior that is known as the Dragon Knight and a mysterious ring that is said to be hidden in the caves.

Cia's Tale was a DLC scenario in the Wii U version, and this tells the story about how Cia got both Volga and Wizzro on her side. The first scenario takes place in Eldin Caves, and the recommend element is Dark, which Cia's Scepter is of that element, and there are no enemies that are weak to Dark element weapons, as you will be fighting a lot of Gorons, Lizalfos, and Dinolfos in this one, I guess it is to do with the fact that you play as Cia in this one.
Starting off this scenario, you have to find a mysterious ring in different keeps, and take on a bunch of Gorons. Cia does have some attacks that cover a wide range, her C2 is good for that, and her C4 allows her to summon up to four Dark Links and they use a spin attack. Try taking some keeps before getting to Crystal Cave, and it will turn out that the mysterious ring can summon Wizzro to the battle.
Once you have Wizzro on your side, the gates will open, and this is where Volga awaits, and he can be tough, but Volga isn't at his full power yet, and once you get Volga down to low health, a large number of Lizalfos and Dinolfos will appear, so Volga has brought his forces into the battle, so Cia must capture the keeps that Volga's forces control so that she can weaken the Lizalfos and Dinolfos Chieftains. In between then, the Gorons will unleash some Bombchus in an attempt to reseal Wizzro, so you must destroy every Bombchu you can find before you lose the Allied Base.
Once all the Bombchus are out of the way, continue with capturing every keep that Volga's forces control, and eventually defeat both Lizalfos and Dinolfos Chieftains, and once you have defeated them, two King Dodongos will appear in the battlefield.
As if that wasn't worse enough, Wizzro betrays Cia, so in order to complete this scenario, you have to defeat Wizzro and Volga, and you can defeat the two Dondongos as well, they aren't too difficult to take down, as I'm sure you will have a lot of experience with King Dodongo, but what makes it tough is trying to take down the Dodongos while trying to fight against Wizzro or Volga.
When you have defeated all the enemy commanders and Giant Bosses, the scenario will be over, Cia will use her dark magic to get both Volga and Wizzro onto her team so they can attack Hyrule Castle.
South of Central Keep, after defeating 1000 enemies, there will be a Gold Skulltula underneath a boulder, and to get the Heart Piece, it is obtained by capturing Central Keep, while the Heart Container is located underneath a boulder west from North Square Keep, and only Cia can get those collectables, as this is Cia's Tale after all. In the Wii U version, you don't get any collectables, as this was DLC, it's only in Hyrule Warriors Legends and the Definitive Edition that you get collectables in this scenario.
