I used: Alcremie, Dragapult, Stonjourner, and Corviknight
My Opponent used: Chandelure, Toxtricity (Amped Form), Sylveon, and Gastrodon
Stadium: Stow-on-Side (Sword)
Battle BGM: Gym Leader

Before starting this battle, I show off Mystery Gift, which seems to be a trend whenever I do a Wild Area Event video, but we have a new season for Ranked Battles, and in case you are wondering, I am sticking to Casual Battles for my recorded online battles, and they did remove the ability to watch Battle Replays, as this was a cool concept starting from Gen 4, or maybe it was Gen 5. There is also a Mystery Gift from the Galar Beginnings online competition, and you can earn some BP, or Battle Points.
The team that I use in this video is the team I used in the Galar Beginnings online competition, and to those that don't know, online competitions are special events where they usually have VGC rules, but sometimes they do special themes, like specific types, or tie in with a real-life holiday, or in this case, only new Pokémon introduced in Sword & Shield could be used, and Galarian Forms are allowed. Online competitions first started back on the Global Link from Pokémon Black & White, and I have read that the Global Link will shut down on this month, and Pokémon Home will be the replacement for the Global Link.
Now to go on topic, this does look like a Trick Room team, but I was surprised that my opponent didn't even use Oranguru, as this is one of the most popular Trick Room users in Double Battles, and even though Chandelure can get Trick Room, this is a surprising team to come across, but I did like my opponent's strategy with Toxic and Venoshock on Toxtricity.
This team makes great use of Double Battles, and this video also shows how much I have learned about different strategies in Double Battles since the Pokémon Battle Revolution days, because even though I liked Double Battles, I didn't have the best movesets for Double Battles, and how different they were to Single Battles.
As for the Pokémon I used, Dragapult is in the top 5 most used Pokémon in VGC 2020, this is because Dragapult can learn a move called Dragon Darts, which will hit both targets, but there is something unique about it, if one opponent uses Protect or if one opponent is a Fairy-type, Dragon Darts will target the other Pokémon twice instead, and I have heard that Phantom Force is a popular move, but two-turn moves can be predictable, it's weird that Dragapult cannot learn Shadow Claw, yet it can learn Dragon Claw. Breaking Swipe is there to hit both targets and lower the Attack stat, so this is a useful move in Double Battles. Dragapult can learn a wide variety of moves, but Physical sets are more preferred in Double Battles, and Clear Body is the Ability you will want, as this will prevent stat reduction from Intimidate, as well as moves that affect stats like Icy Wind.
For my other team members, Alcremie has Decorate, which will boost the target's Attack and Special Attack by two stages, so this Alcremie works very well with Dragapult, because if Decorate is used, this will make Dragapult an unstoppable force in battle, the downside is that Alcremie is a bit on the slow side, and this can be risky if any of the opponents have moves that can deal super-effective damage to Dragapult.
Stonjourner is a strange choice to have due to its terrible Special Defense and its Rock-type giving it weaknesses to common types, it does get an Ability called Power Spot, where its partners will get a 30% boost to their moves, so if Alcremie uses Decorate on Dragapult, and then I switch in Stonjourner, this will allow Dragapult to deal even more damage in battle, and Wide Guard on Stonjourner is good against any Surf or Earthquake users, and this is a Shiny Stonjourner by the way, because I was trying to get a good Nature for Stonjourner, so I ended up using a Mint on this one, as it didn't have to correct Nature, because if you get a Shiny Pokémon with a bad Nature, you can use a Mint to get the Nature you really want on it, this was a great change they did in this game. Stonjourner can be a bit gimmicky, but if you know how to make use of its Ability, it can be a handy Pokémon to use, you have to be very wary of any Special Attackers.
