I Buy a Fake GBA Game (and then DESTROY it!)
Just a reminder that fake GBA games are VERY common. Out of all the retro cartridge based systems in the past the GBA might be one of the most popular ones to fake games on. It's not just the Pokemon games either as you might expect but really almost anything. Sometimes even generic mundane games you wouldn't expect to be faked are. So you really have to keep an eye out on the games you're buying and if they're rare or expensive games (like those Pokemon games!) I'd even go a step further and open the cartridge to look at the PCB and compare to other known good boards. Here it was pretty obvious upfront as the label art wasn't even trying to copy the real game. But even if they used the right art the other signs (crooked label, too shiny, no stamped code, no Nintendo printed on PCB) should give it away.
