Introducing a seaweed-flavored side dish made with tofu! The crispy texture of cheese and the chewy texture of tofu and potato starch make this a delightful dish.

■Ingredients (Serves 2)
・1 block of silken tofu (200g)
・3 chikuwa (fish cakes)
・40g pizza cheese
・1/2 tablespoon salad oil
☆Seasonings
・4 tablespoons potato starch
・1 teaspoon green laver
・1/3 teaspoon Japanese dashi granules
■Procedure
(1) Add the tofu and ingredients marked with ☆ to a bowl and mix well. Add the pizza cheese and cut the chikuwa into 5mm pieces with kitchen scissors. Add the ingredients and mix well (dough). (The tofu is used without draining. Be sure to drain the water from the package.)
(2) Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Scoop 1/10 of the batter into the pan with a spoon and drop it into the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip. Cook over low-medium heat for about 3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. (The key is to not touch the batter until it's cooked through.)
