■Ingredients (Serves 2)
・2 eggplants
・2 tablespoons vegetable oil
・2 tablespoons water
・2 tablespoons ponzu soy sauce
・1 teaspoon sugar
・A pinch of grated garlic
・10g salted butter

■Procedure
(1) Peel the eggplants in stripes, removing the stems and calyx.
(2) Cut into 2cm wide pieces and make a grid pattern on both sides.
(3) Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, arrange the eggplants, and cook over medium heat.
(4) Once browned, flip the eggplant over, add water, cover, and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes.
(5) Once the eggplant is tender, add the ponzu sauce, sugar, and garlic and mix well.
(6) Add the butter and mix well while melting.
