What would you do if you joined a server and you were welcomed by this. A never-ending wall covering the spawn beach encircling you and preventing you from entering the island. You would probably respawn, but then, again, you are met with a wall. Then again, and again and again. At this point, I would give up and find somewhere else to play, and that is exactly what I tried to make happen in my most recent wipe. I walled in the entire spawn beach on a 200 pop server, and watched over the 30 days to see if the average player count would take a genuine decline that could be possibly attributed to my wall. Mapping out the previous two months of server pop, I was then able to compare these stats over the month and saw some very interesting correlations between when I finished building the wall, and when the server started to die.
