IBM Portable PC (Model 5155): Part 5 - almost done
Well it's working and booting off the CF drive to MS-DOS 6.22.
Couldn't get a picture out of the CGA board's composite RCA output or DE9 CGA port ... but then I didn't RTFM either.
Remaining plans:
[1] make a cable from the floppy controller to the single, and original, 5.25" 360KB floppy drive
[2] Replace the CGA board with a Graphics Gremlin board
[3] Maybe make a DC37 floppy cable to run an external 3.5" drive
So the final configuration is planned to be:
Processors: NEC V20 with 8087 maths co-processor
RAM: 640KB
Storage: 1GB CF hard drive with 360KB 5.25" floppy & maybe external 720KB 3.5" floppy
Video: CGA with VGA output connector
I/O: DB25 serial, DB25 parallel, DA15 game
