This is the 80286 iteration of Compaq's portable machine. I definitely prefer the Model F keyboard of the IBM Portable PC over this one ... and check out that yellowing! Yikes!

Unfortunately this machine has been stripped (not by me!) - no cards inside and no floppy or hard drives. It also looks like the fan has been removed ... ?!

It's got a 9" green monochrome screen that connects to the (absent) video card via a 2x6 header ... so the quality is likely to be better than the IBM's composite video output.

It would be nice to restore (I can see cards relevant to these machines for sale on ebay), or to setup some other machine inside using the keyboard, display & power supply (RasPi?) but I just don't have the time.

So this is just a quick look before I find it another home.
