Hey guys, Daniel from Game & Gig here. So, like many of you, I’m assuming, I recently picked up Sifu. And now I’m pretty much convinced that I’m Bruce Lee… or Jackie Chan… anyway… one of those BA Kung Fu movie stars. This game just does such a great job of making you feel cool, and that’s not something I can say about every game. I’ve never played a game with such polished fight scenes. Every takedown animation flows so well with the rest of the fight and the interactions with the environment do such a great job of never looking awkward or forced. I’m honestly floored with how well a game with ONLY five levels can hold my attention. But it’s the fantastic level design, the replayability, and the constant need to perfect every encounter that keeps me coming back. It also has this cool aging mechanic that pretty much forces you to “get good” as you become this aging Kung Fu master. Otherwise you’ll be a 70 year old man going into the second level and you’ll never make it. I’m on the fourth level now so be on the lookout for a full review of this one once I finish it.
