Hey everyone, It’s Randy from Game & Gig. Today’s one minute game review is on Human: Fall Flat from Curve Digital.

My wife and I are always looking for co-op games to play. But I’m not going to lie, I was fairly hesitant going in Human: Fall Flat, because this actually wasn’t my first experience with the game. I had actually tried it out on Stadia a year or two ago when Google sent me a stadia controller and Chromecast ultra for being a YouTube premium subscriber. I had played through the first few levels and honestly wasn’t very impressed. The wonky ragdoll physics came across as cumbersome instead of entertaining, and the puzzles weren’t challenging beyond the difficulty of just controlling the character.

And this go around, Katherine and I pretty much felt those exact same feelings of disappointment when we worked through the first few levels in co-op. But as we progressed through the game, we became better and better at controlling our character, the puzzles became more difficult and rewarding, and we found that playing with someone else made the frequent failures hilarious instead of frustrating. The more we played the game, the more we grew to love it. And by the time the credits rolled we were honestly disappointed that the game had come to an end. Human Fall Flat doesn’t have the best opening, but if you stick with the game, I think you will find that it’s a really great physics-based puzzle platformer. And although you can play this game by yourself, I would say that the game is maybe best enjoyed as a co-op experience.
