You can visit New Madurai on the north side of the continent, but not much is going on there right now.
For some reason, the world map doesn't wrap around, which means Tenat is essentially a flat earth.

In one of the houses, you'll learn that Hiro Cortlabar left for the Valpheggi Swamplands to investigate why the Fey are so aggressive.
24:25 Arne and Arne Cave
This town is located north of New Sporgel and can only be accessed by ship. The mayor wants you to clear out the Alme Cave so that the Madurains can move in. In the cave, investigate the lake from all sides.
36:35 Boss: Elder Kraken
Like its weaker counterpart, it can use powerful water attacks. It can also inflict silence and other status effects, so Charm Bracelet from the shard collector will be useful.
41:25 Conquered Cave
Afterwards, report back to the mayor and then return to the cave. The place no longer has random encounters and you can loot from the new rooms. The swimming Madurain will give a shard.
45:43 Mysterious Tower
It's so weird to see that smug and sinister Atrius say the generic leader dialogue to the gnome, Poxx. Poxx wants the party to go to the top of the tower and stop his out of control robots. There are both random and roaming encounters, and the roaming ones will always come in groups of three, which is really deadly if they all decide to use their laser skill.
50:23 Boss: L4 CLE-31
The boss seems like a standard machine at first, but like the Necronaut, it can grab a party member and throw it back at another character for damage. It can also use lightning, which it's weak to, so Valdraek will come in handy.
Poxx has nothing to give you for the moment, but he might be useful later in the game.
