Description:
Brucie, Jade, and James are a group of university students studying for their exams. In order to kill some time, they discuss an urban legend about the Cannibal Boy, and those who hear about it must pass on the legend to someone else, lest they become the cannibal's next victim. Afterwards, Jade tells a story about doppelgangers that hits too close to home for Brucie.

0:00 Starting the Game
Upon picking New Game, the visual novel opens with a jumpscare where the POV character opens a window, only for the cannibal boy to sneak in and attack them.
You then get the option to name the protagonist. I went with the default name, Brucie. It's weird that we even get a choice, since his name cannot be changed in the other games.
Even though the finals are tomorrow, James wants to slack off and tell horror stories. There's no way I'd have the confidence to do that!
4:31 Part 1: The Cannibal Boy
James's version of the story has a family where the mom cheated on the dad and left. This caused the dad to become an abusive drunk. He mainly targeted his son because the latter was feminine and looked like the mom, but the daughter tried to defend the son. This resulted in the girl being abused too. The stress of constantly defending her brother from both their father and bullies caused her to go mad, and there wasn't anyone she could turn to, since all the authority figures turned a blind eye. Eventually, she commits murder-suicide with her father and leaves behind a suicide note saying "your fault." The boy cannot accept that his family and peers would be so mean to him, so he blames everything on evil spirits. Due to his father forcing him to eat meat, he becomes a cannibal that eats people under the pretense of exorcism.
Jade then tells a simpler version of the story where opening a window can lead to the cannibal breaking in.
The opening video plays, and then Jade tells a story about doppelgangers.
15:09 Part 2: Doppelgänger
If you meet your doppelganger, you die. If you kill them, you die the same way.
The twist on this doppelganger is that it's actually a pair of twin siblings, Hans and Grete. Not only is their backstory similar to James's version of Cannibal Boy, but Brucie and Jade were friends with them. In philosophy class, Brucie and Hans would often debate about whether or not it's fine that people can eat livestock, but not cats and dogs. Brucie thinks it's morally inconsistent to be against eating certain kinds of meat while Hans insists it's acceptable for people to treat meat unequally.
Grete falls in love with Brucie, but he states that he's interested in someone else. At first, Grete assumes that Jade is the other person, and bottles up her rage, only to feel guilty about it. Jade then reveals that Hans is the other person, just to drive the knife in. Also, Hans talks about preferring certain kinds of meat, in the genital sense.
One night, Hans invites Brucie over for dinner and feeds him lots of meat. Brucie eventually realizes that the Hans in front of him is actually Grete, who actually fed Hans to him. Brucie is at first slightly surprised, but decides to eat Grete too because he believes she'll taste just as good as Hans. If you played Case 01, you probably saw this coming.
The moral of the story is that regardless of backstories, anyone can turn into an evil spirit with enough pushing.

Brucie isn't pleased that Jade used the so-called doppelganger story to reveal his crime. He also has yet to realize she's a telepath. Brucie then goes on a rant about moral consistency in eating animals, revealing how insane he really is. Jade tells him that he should have left James some false hope, and then Brucie eats James.
