One of the most glaring issues with the Demon's Souls PS5 remake by Bluepoint is that they didn't adjust certain broken aspects with ANY regard to pvp. IMO, they might've only patched the tumbleswap casting because it could severely broken pve (albeit only to those who know how to do said glitch). The reason why I have that opinion is because of the failure to remove infinite stunlock on certain weapons when they're two handed. It should've been an obvious thing to be patched but it wasn't because it was "meme worthy" and in practice it just creates a lot of frustrations about game balance.

Luckily if you're aware that your opponent is abusing infinite stunlock, be it accidentally or intentionally, you can press left or right on the d-pad to "toggle escape". Although its success is sometimes hit and miss and unless you're preemptively toggle escaping, instead of attempting a roll or block, then you will likely still be hit 3 times instead of 2 before you escape. It's been over a year since the remake was released, it only got 2 patches (day 1 and a few weeks later to fix the coin exploit) and this is not getting fixed.
