Hey, guys! Great news from Netflix as Inside Job gets a Season 2 renewal. Well, it’s not a renewal per se, as Netflix initially ordered 20 episodes – two seasons of 10 episodes each. By the way, Inside Job became the first Netflix adult animated series developed in-house. It was made by Netflix Animation Studios. The show was created by the man who’s no stranger to high quality adult animation, Shion Takeuchi, the writer for Gravity Falls and Regular Show. He also is a showrunner and producer of Inside Job alongside the creator of Gravity Falls, Alex Hirsch. The cherry on top is the talented ensemble cast, led by the Masters of Sex alum Lizzy Caplan as Reagan Ridley, and award-winning actor Christian Slater as Rand. The new Netflix animated series debuted just a week ago, on October 22, and it has already made it into Netflix’s Top 10 lists in 40 countries, including the US. On IMDb, viewers rate it at 7.8 out of 10. When Season 2 of Inside Job is released in 2022, we’ll either get a vindictive Reagan, trying to get her CEO father fired and replace him, OR she could finish what he started years ago and try to expose the deep state.
