Jarrod Wall & Anthony Massingham go through the life of VEGA Conflict and KIXEYE Australia.

VEGA Conflict is a Unity powered free2play cross-platform MMO-RTS developed in Brisbane. They will discuss the evolution of VEGA technology through multiple platforms, and provide a look into the production processes that make it possible to run and maintain such a large game.

Founded in 2007, KIXEYE is an online gaming company that plays to win. Responsible for popular titles like Battle Pirates, War Commander and VEGA Conflict, KIXEYE is the first developer to deliver proper game play experiences on social networks. The company is based in San Francisco with offices in Brisbane, Australia and Victoria, Canada and is backed by Trinity Ventures, JAFCO and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Anthony Massingham is a Senior Software Engineer at KIXEYE Australia. A relatively new addition to the gaming industry, he joined KIXEYE almost 3 years ago, having worked previously for a Social Media startup, and an e-Learning organisation. His work at KIXEYE mainly focuses on Gameplay, and UI programming.
