Intel Coffee Lake S IGPU Spotted | Ryzen 5 2600 Early Performance Review & More
Today, we have yet another early review of the Ryzen 2000 series. This time, it's the Ryzen 5 2600, giving us a look at how it fares against it's bigger brother the 2700X and Intel's rival processors. We have a decent suite of productivity and gaming performance benchmarks, giving us a nice look at the CPU.
We have an interesting report on the licensing deal between Intel and Nvidia, which suggests it was never a deal but actually a settlement that has been going on for some time (since the days of Nforce). Speaking of Intel, we have a Coffee Lake S CPU iGPU being spotted in their technical documents, flying the face of the Ice Lake processor leaks we recently discussed.
We also briefly discuss NAND flash memory prices, and how they are expected to continue decreasing for a little while, and then we close things out with some comments from Patrick Soderlund of EA.
He has discussed Star Wars Battlefront 2, and how EA have learned from the experience with the backlash to the microtransactions and loot boxes. He also touches on Anthem, perhaps hinting that Anthem would have also suffered from the same issues if not for the recent controversy.
