Today I'll show you an excerpt from FPS game called Interstellar Marines on Linux.
The game is available for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X, in addition, offers crossplatform multiplayer. The game uses the Unity engine 4, which many Linux users complain of one threading and poor performance. This might change in the new beta Unity 5, but I still do not know.

Dzisiaj pokażę wam fragment z gry FPS zwanej Interstellar Marines na Linuksie.
Gra jest dostępna na Linux, Windows i Mac OS X, w dodatku oferuje crossplatform multiplayer. Gra wykorzystuje silnik Unity 4, przez co wielu użytkowników Linuksa skarży się na jedno wątkowość i słabą wydajność. Może się to zmienić w nowej beta Unity 5, ale wciąż nie wiadomo.

Pomimo tego, gra u mnie działa całkiem płynnie. Co prawda nagrywanie zabija około 10-15 fps i włączone kompozycje też około 10 fps. ale gra bez nagrywania jest grywalna.

Użytkownicy Linuksa i kart Radeon ze sterownikami Catalyst skarżą się również na złe działanie gry na tych sterownikach. Pokażę, że to nieprawda, przynajmniej na moim komputerze. Przypominam, że nagrywanie zabiera mi około 20-25 fps!
