Dark empath parents are complicated, emotionally detached, and simply disturbing.
Emotionally detached parents are difficult to live a life with because any emotional or psychological need you may have will either result in little to no empathy or completely no empathy at all.
Some emotionally detached (or unavailable) parents may be dark empaths --- individuals who carry narcissist, sociopath, and Machiavellian personality traits.
These kind of parents can be labeled dark empaths because they lack the emotional and psychological depth and awareness of human needs to relate to your deepest needs.
In this video, I discuss emotionally detached parents of parents of adult children who may, in fact, be dark empaths.
