https://www.patreon.com/ulillillia --- I found a new glitch in Jak 2, one of little use beyond sheer humor. For this, note the odd, isolated building surrounded by water in the water slums area. Grab a zoomer and go to it using the upper flight level. The zoomer goes on top of that building. Now, dismount from the zoomer and the zoomer will attempt to go down to the lower flight level, just above the water, but it can't because there's a roof in a the way. However, something is odd with that roof. What you see is not how the collision bounds are set. The collision bounds are higher but only in the central part of this. As a consequence, and what the bug is, Jak stands on air, floating above the roof. It's quite slippery here so keep movement to a minimum while you wait for the zoomer to gradually destroy itself. If the zoomer falls off, dive down after it and bring it back up again. Once that zoomer is destroyed, grab another one and repeat.
You're probably well aware of how resiliant those guard vehicles are, the really big ones. Well, here, you'll see just how long they actually last. Other types of zoomers are used to demonstrate how resistant they are. The small, single-seaters last 211 frames (7.03 seconds), double-seaters last 320 frames (10.67 seconds), and the large guard vehicles last a rather crazy 1592 frames (53.07 seconds) based on the moment the smoke turns to flame to the moment they explode. Multiply that by 4 to determine the total duration so about 28.1 seconds for the single seaters, 42.7 seconds for the double-seaters (roughly 50% longer), and about 212.3 seconds for the large guard vehicles (about 5 times longer than the double seaters).
Best of all, repeat as often as you desire!
