Jak & Daxter: Playthrough Part 4: Forbidden Jungle Adventures
10Almost the entirety of this video has Jak & Daxter travel through the Forbidden Jungle. More Power Cells await them there, among other things.
To start off, right at the beginning, I finally get all of Sandover Village's Precursor Orbs.
Here's some of the things that happen at the Forbidden Jungle, & the Power Cells I get as the result:
Jak breaks a mirror that was redirecting a Blue Eco beam into a furnace. He can then re-redirect this beam towards different mirror towers, which eventually lead to the beam going towards the Mayor's house.
I haven't played this game in a while, so I got really rusty in finding the next towers. I had to make skips in the video because I was taking so long with this, but I also don't even mess with the other towers until after I got some other things done.
You can jump from 3:07 to 17:27 to see me use the next tower. From there, there are more skips 17:52 (glitchy fading), & 18:03. The Mayor will be talked to in the next video.

Moving on...
Under the jungle's bridges, you'll find the Fisherman. He can't catch any fish, so he wants you to do it for him in a fishing minigame, 200 pounds, to be exact.
Green fish are 1 pound & yellow fish are 5 pounds. You'll win if you nab 200 pounds of fish, but you'll lose if you either miss 20 pounds or if you catch a poisonous eel.
If you win this minigame, the Fisherman will not only give you a Power Cell, but he'll also let you use his speedboat again to get to Misty Island.

You get to interact with more Blue Eco here. It can activate platforms, create platforms, open doors, and let you jump really high with Blue Eco Launcher.
There's another Power Cell at the top of the Precursor Tower, so you need to use the Blue Eco to reach it. Then you have to use the elevator near it to go in the tower.
Follow the only path you're able to take right now in the tower, and you'll eventually reach the Blue Eco Vent Switch, which activates every Blue Eco Vent that was clogged.
Use the opened vents to go further through the building, and eventually fight a Dark Eco Plant. Just kill all the bugs it send after you, then it will let you hit up to 3 times before it dies and takes the smaller thorny plants with it.
If you let it kill you, there's a special animation where it flings Jak in the air and swallows him whole. When do you kill it, be sure to step on it for more Precursor Orbs before launching out of that place.
Unfortunately, I forgot to mess with a launcher while I was inside the tower. So after redirecting the last mirror tower to the Mayor's house, I go all the way into the tower to use the launcher I missed & get that last few Precursor Orbs for the jungle.

The last thing I do in the video is get one of the Power Cells from Sandover's Oracle. After that, I now have 23 Power Cells. That's more than enough to get through Fire Canyon, but I'm going to focus on that in a different video.
