Jerp plays Outer Wilds pt.5 - A Quantum Education! Also; They did this to us?! (2020-10-21)
1Suddenly I've made it onto the Orbital Probe Cannon and it's time to have a look around. No sign of the Probe Tracking Module just yet.
Spent a bit more time exploring Giant's Deep and finding something truly interesting in the center of the giant tornado. Also happened upon Gabbro - it turns out they share our fate!
It turns out there's Tower of Quantum Trials inside the tornado on Giant's Deep, and through completing each of the puzzles I ended up learning a ton about how to manipulate quantum objects - meaning now I have an idea about how to land on that moon!
I managed to land on the Quantum Moon for just a little bit, before accidentally taking Solanum's shuttle back to Brittle Hollow. I should really pay better attention to those controls rather than fiddling around willy nilly.
I also finally made it to the Sun Station, and learned that the Nomai attempted to doom the solar system in pursuit of knowledge 200,000+ years ago.
Back on Giant's Deep I finally found my way under the surface via one counter-clockwise tornado, and witnessed a core that I could not enter. I continued to browse around - and nearly attempted the successful solution for getting inside - but had to give up the my attempts for now. I ended up finding Statue Island and learning about their connection to the masks.
Towards the end of this session I ended up back in Dark Bramble and finally finding the Hearthian lost within.
