A little terrarium rain garden with some ancient temple ruins rendered in real-time using Unreal Engine 5! Striving for some photorealistic graphics!

Back to this series! Thought I’d try out a bit more geometry than I’ve fit into these scenes before. Nanite, as usual, pulling its weight (although important to increase your nanite allocation settings the more you scale up a mesh relative to it’s original size). Lumen for dynamic global illumination and reflections. This entire scene was running on an RTX 3060.

A combination of megascans, sketchfab assets and custom models done in Blender were used for this scene. Water was done in Blender (see this tutorial if you want to know how to make this kind of water using dynamic paint: https://youtu.be/T4KAHVEmGM0) and bought in as an alembic.

_If you want to see more about the workflow for scenes like this, I’ve done a tutorial/concept breakdown that you might find interesting! https://youtu.be/VVzmh-kvEdA_
