Just one Line is completely free. It's a decision based RPG Adventure, where you play as the role you choose from. You can unlock new roles in your previous Adventures and take on problems, you couldn't do before. This is basically based on the three stats you deal with. One is Power, which is physical strength, one is Wits, which is Logic and Magic and the last one is Cunning, which is the art of talking and stealth. Solving problems on these stats open up different paths, which unlock new types of quests.
So you can play through the game multiple times, to explore the new adventures, you might have missed in your previous game.
Of course you might be equipped for the problem, but can also fail when you pick the wrong approach. Which i neatly show in my first attempt, where i failed misserably on both occasions. I trashed the Game and started anew. The reason for this isn't only the missing money, that you would get, but also the lost reputation. Also the quest isn't available anymore.
The good thing is, that this shows how the different paths unlocks different adventures. On my first approach, where i couldn't stop the fight in the Tavern, i also seem to have lost the boy, that was running away. So the second mission i could take is "the missing child". On the second Adventure i started, the quest for the missing child didn't appeared on the Quest board. So i guess this time it didn't went missing.
The Games Visuals comes in a low poly style and is a little simple designed. But the Game is mostly about the written text, the story and the visuals are still a nice representation of the location you're at.
From what i have read, the game was a paid version, but went free after some time. This kind of shows, since the game looks like it had a lot of thought to it.
