7A playthrough of the demo of Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge for Steam Next Fest. I adored this demo! I love the art style, and the concept of making a frog refuge and rebuilding the wetlands is intriguing. The demo first reminded me of games like Neko Atsume and Usagi Shima where you place objects and animals will appear (in this case frogs). However, I am delighted the game adds so much more including collecting resources, cooking items to sell, a tech tree to unlock more objects in the wetlands, and frog breeding. I enjoyed playing the demo, and I am looking forward to the full game.
Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge is a cozy farming sim where you collect and raise frogs and restore the wetlands.
