Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath is an expansion for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. It was developed by EA Los Angeles and BreakAway Games, and published by Electronic Arts. The Xbox 360 version of the game was released on June 23, 2008, about three months after its initial Windows release.
As the base, the Xbox 360 version of Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath is largely identical to the Windows version. It does, however, introduce a command wheel for easier access to in-game menus, a design later copied by other games such as Halo Wars.
This version of the game lacks the World Conquest mode, but instead features Kane's Challenge. In Kane's Challenge, the player picks one of the game's nine factions to face all opposing armies on various skirmish maps, not unlike the General's Challenge from Command & Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour.
Like the base game, Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath was received well, and again received slightly lower rating that the Windows version. The next Command & Conquer mainline entry, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, would also receive an Xbox release.
