Kawasaki Superbike Challenge on Sega Mega Drive features 15 different race tracks, and 14 of these are regular races. Any number of these 14 can be played as part of a championship.

The 15th track however is something different. It is the Suzuka 8 Hour Endurance Race and can only be played separately from the others. It is a much longer race, designed to simulate the real life 8 hour Suzuka race. However, while you might be racing for 1 hour, you definitely won't be racing for 8.

Here, I'm able to complete the race within 42 minutes, but the track is tough and I fear I'd need to race a more than perfect race to finish 1st! I have a couple of sticky pit encounters and a few crashes, but that's typical when I play this game.

Also, since I first played the game I learnt you can cut short the qualifying phase by pressing start and selecting Quit to go straight to the main race. You will not incur any penalty and will begin at the position you earned based on your best lap time if you completed any laps.
